Here are the things I did to succeed in the AWS SysOps – Associate (SOA-C02) exam:
- Familiarized myself with exam guide and ensured I have covered all the exam topics before taking the exam (https://d1.awsstatic.com/training-and-certification/docs-sysops-associate/AWS-Certified-SysOps-Administrator-Associate_Exam-Guide.pdf).
- Completed this Udemy course https://www.udemy.com/course/ultimate-aws-certified-sysops-administrator-associate.
- Completed the practice questions which came with the above Udemy course.
- Took the exam and failed. The exam result helped me to discover my weakness.
- Went over Udemy course (from #2) to go over the areas I was lacking.
- Also completed this Udemy course: https://www.udemy.com/course/aws-certified-sysops-administrator-associate-training/learn
- Made sure I have complete understanding of every service which was included in the exam (the list of services is in the exam guide from #1). Also studied the differences between similar services.
Took the exam again and succeeded, the exposure from the first time when I took the exam helped a lot.
